10+1 of a therapist you want to avoid⠀

My clients sometimes speak about BAD EXPERIENCES with their previous therapists.

If you are currently looking for a new therapist, choose well!

I am sharing with you a list of top damaging experiences.

A therapist you would want to avoid is a person who⠀

1. has a HOSTILE or AGGRESSIVE behavior or energy.⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. TOUCHES you INAPPROPRIATELY or does not warn you before touching you at all.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. with their own inappropriate behavior creates NEW WOUNDS or even TRAUMAS for you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. does not manage their own emotions, gets angry with you or even BREAKS DOWN in front of you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5. INTERRUPTS your strong emotional moment and keeps you away from your deep emotions.⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
6. makes you feel INFERIOR.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
7. gives you their advice and solution instead of leading you to find out your own.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
8. JUDGES you or your life choices.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
9. is not BENEVOLENT and kind to you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
10. does not have a sense of HUMOUR to make things lighter for you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
+1 does not LISTEN to you and your needs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

For me as your kinesiologist, it is one of the the most important things to create a SAFE SPACE for you and RESPECT your needs.

My vision is to be the best kinesiologist for you, known for unique active listening and benevolent approach.⠀

I am curious to hear: Do you have a bad experience with a therapist? What was it?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
